The Radix Node is the software that runs on computers that together forms the Radix Public Network.
The Radix Node maintains a record of transactions (ledger state) by syncing with the rest of the network, it thus fulfils the role of a Full Node and can also expose the Core API.
A Radix Node can also be registered as a validator node. If a validator node can attract enough XRD stake to place in the top 100 by stake, it joins the validator set, validates transactions, and participates in consensus.
For more information on the different usages of these node options and how to set them up, see the Radix Tech Docs.
