The Radix Protocol refers to the algorithmic rules that govern how validator nodes, using Radix Node software, operate the Radix Public Network. It defines how these nodes communicate with one another, how they conduct consensus on transactions, what transactions are valid, and how fees, emissions, epochs, and much more work on Radix.
The Radix Protocol includes Radix Engine as its execution environment, Cerberus as its consensus protocol, and Radix’s DPoS system as its Sybil resistance mechanism.
