DYOR is short for “Do Your Own Research,” advice often given in crypto that a user should do their own research before buying a new token, instead of making a decision based on hype or second-hand advice.
Part of doing your own research may include reading a project's white paper, checking who the CEO is, joining community conversations, and generally familiarizing yourself with a project before making a decision.
